In memory of David Kent 29.9.53 - 18.10.07
It's hard to believe that it's nearly six years since we lost David. Universally liked and loved, he was a wonderful husband to Marilyn, devoted father to Charlotte, step-father to Darren and Stacey, brother to Mandy and Peter, and son to Maureen and Denis. As well as being a highly respected music lawyer at Seddons, David was also a hugely talented songwriter, singer and keyboard player. In the six months before his illness was diagnosed, he was thrilled to be playing again with his old band Riviera Feedback, resulting in two gigs at the end of 2006. The tracks on this site are demos recorded in the 70's, with all music and lyrics written by David, apart from "I'm Shining" which evolved from the last piece of music composed by David which he briefly played at the band's final session in December 2006, with lyrics added by DS in 2009.

Thoughts
David represented some of my artists over many years and I have very fond memories of him. We debated contracts and the music world. While worked on our last project, I remember he told me he was taking time off. I never knew why and was deeply saddened when I heard the news. I still think of him from time to time and his wonderful character. He was a gentleman and thought me so much.
